This medicine may contain sugar. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor or pharmacist about using Gas-X Plain Peppermint (simethicone) safely.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using Gas-X Plain Peppermint (simethicone).
It is not known if Gas-X Plain Peppermint (simethicone) passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Store at room temperature between 59-86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from moisture, heat, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Refer to storage information printed on the package. If you have any questions about storage, ask your pharmacist. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.

Take this product by mouth, usually 2-4 times a day after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by your doctor. Chew the tablets thoroughly before swallowing. Follow all directions on the product package. If you are uncertain about any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
If you are self-treating with Gas-X Plain Peppermint (simethicone), the usual maximum amount for adults is 500 milligrams daily.

There are no reports of any side effects due to Gas-X Plain Peppermint (simethicone). However, tell your doctor if you experience any unpleasant effects while taking Gas-X Plain Peppermint (simethicone).
A very serious allergic reaction to this product is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any of the following symptoms of a serious allergic reaction: rash, itching, swelling (especially of throat/face), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.
