Condylox’s mechanism of action works by destroying abnormal skin cells that cause genital warts, as it is a topical antimitotic agent. It contains podofilox, also known as podophyllotoxin. It stops infected cells from dividing by interfering with cell mitosis, leading to cell death. This causes the wart tissue to break down and fall away over time, helping clear visible warts when applied directly as prescribed.

• Condylox is for topical application only.

• Wash your hands before and after each application.

When Condylox is taken with other prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and supplements, it may change how they work or increase the frequency or severity of side effects. Condylox is available in the following dosage forms:

• 0.5% topical podofilox solution.
• 0.5% topical podofilox gel.

Dosage summary based on prescribing information:

• Apply Condylox twice daily, morning and evening, for three consecutive days.
• Follow with four days of no treatment.
• This seven-day cycle may be repeated for up to four weeks.
• Do not apply more than 0.5 mL per day.
• Do not treat more than 10 square centimeters of wart tissue at one time.

If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Use your next dose at the regular time. Do not double the dose to catch up.

It should be stored at room temperature, away from the reach of children or pets.
