Does myrbetriq cause weight gain?
Myrbetriq (mirabegron) treats overactive bladder (OAB) in adults and neurogenic detrusor overactivity (NDO) in children ≥ 3 years. Common side effects include cold symptoms, urinary tract infections, headaches, and high blood pressure.
Weight gain is not reported as a side effect in clinical studies. However, if you experience urinary retention, fluid buildup might make your weight appear higher. Discuss any weight concerns with your healthcare provider.
Does Myrbetriq cause weight loss?
No, Myrbetriq does not typically change body weight. If you notice unexpected weight loss, inform your provider as it could indicate another medical issue.
