Depo-Estradiol

The active ingredient or generic name of Depo-Estradiol is estradiol cypionate, a form of estrogen. In postmenopausal women, hormone replacement therapy (HRT) supplements are used to increase estrogen levels to relieve symptoms such as vaginal dryness, atrophy, or hot flashes.

• Signs of gallbladder disease such as pain or tenderness in your stomach.

Depo-Estradiol will typically start to relieve menopausal symptoms within 1 to 5 days. This can last for 1 to 8 weeks, with an average of around 5 weeks.

When Depo-Estradiol is taken with other prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and supplements, it may change how they work or increase the frequency or severity of side effects.
