Avoid washing or touching the treated area for about 8 hours after applying the medication. After about 8 hours, you may then wash the area with water and a mild soap. Do not increase your dose or use Klisyri more often or for longer than prescribed. Your condition will not improve any faster, and your risk of side effects will increase. Do not apply the medication in or around the eyes or mouth or on any damaged skin or skin that is healing. If you do get the medication in those areas, flush with plenty of water. Get medical help right away if the medication gets into your eyes. Use Klisyri regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same time each day. Tell your doctor if your condition lasts or gets worse.
