Important information about Robaxisal Extra Strength
The active ingredients in Robaxisal Extra Strength are methocarbamol and acetylsalicylic acid (ASA). Methocarbamol is a muscle relaxant, so it works by relaxing the muscles, which eases tense muscles and muscle pain. Acetylsalicylic acid is an analgesic and NSAID drug (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) that works as a pain reliever. The combination of methocarbamol and acetylsalicylic acid results in effective relief of muscle pain.

Methocarbamol use during pregnancy is also likely to be of low risk when used appropriately. However, acetylsalicylic acid doses greater than 81 mg should be used with caution in pregnancy due to the risk of prolonged labor, maternal bleeding, and neonatal bleeding.
