Cardura

An allergy to Cardura or any other hypersensitivity to doxazosin or other quinazolines.

After an oral dose, doxazosin blood levels peak two to three hours later. Within one to six hours of taking a dose of doxazosin, the blood pressure-lowering impact starts. Doxazosin extended-release tablet, Cardura XL:

BPH, or benign prostatic hyperplasia: 4 mg taken orally once daily with breakfast is the usual first dosage. Eight milligrams once daily is the maximum dosage.
