Atarax

Within 30 minutes of a dose, Atarax begins to take effect. However, it may take two hours for you to fully experience the benefits of this drug. Anxiety:

For those over the age of 18, the recommended dose is 50–100 mg taken orally four times a day.

For those aged 6 and up, the recommended daily oral dosage is 50–100 mg, divided into smaller quantities and taken throughout the day.

For children under six years of age, the recommended daily dosage is 50 mg administered orally in various amounts throughout the day.

Itching:

Ages 18 and up: Three to four times a day, 25 mg is the usual oral dosage.

Ages 6 and up: 50–100 mg taken orally daily, divided into smaller quantities, and consumed throughout the day, is the usual dosage.

For children under six, the usual dosage is 50 mg administered orally daily, divided into smaller doses and spaced out throughout the day.

Sedative:

18 years of age and up: As prescribed by the medical staff, the usual dosage is between 50 and 100 mg.

Age under 18: Your medical staff will use your body weight to calculate the dosage. As instructed by the care team, 0.6 mg/kg is the usual oral dosage.
